Hampstead, London, UK

Located in the borough of Camden, Hampstead village was built on Hampstead hill so that the rich people of London could live above the smog whilst looking down on those of lesser social status below. With the time of smog (and indeed social status) long gone, now Hampstead is home to a plethora of fashionable boutiques and mobile phone shops. The Coffee Cup café in Hampstead is so loved by the locals (despite this Researcher once finding it selling stale cakes and bad coffee) that a series of election candidates were slated to prevent its renovation. This is the way of the strange Hampstead folk.
Hampstead is also well known for its Heath, where people flock to pick up other people, or to catch the amazing views over London from Parliament Hill.
