Extended information

The Academy of Dantooine suffered heavy losses during the Sith war, and it is whispered in circles around the galaxy that not all these casualities were in battle. It has been suggested that many simply turned to the Darkside and its lures of power.

This stems from the academy's former students. Both Sith lords Malek and Revan were trained by the academy before they turned to the Darkside, and it has been known that the academy has made several journeys to nearby caves, only to mark them forbidden areas for planet dwellers. What exactly these caves hold remains a mystery, but the dark aura which eminates from them is clear to all.

The current head of the order is Tzu Vao, a Twi'lek female. She has struggled to rebuild the Order after the Sith war, being only a masters apprentice when she was given the position. Yet using the academy's records she is tracking down and calling back more Jedi to the academy in the hope of rebuilding the order of Dantooine.

Locations of note

1After the Sith War, the Jedi have been reluctant to divulge exact information regarding dispositions of forces across the galaxy for fears of attacks by Sith forces
