Boston Massachusetts MBTA trains

0 Conversations

The public mass transit system in Boston.
Originallyconstructed to get people from one side of Metropolitan Boston to another.
It began on a trolley like system, and sonn went underground as well.
It is clean efficient and prompt and currently costs one US dollar.
Personal space is small, however people do not sem to mind and are generally well behaved.
The trains are well monitored and safe. The system is color coded by line. For example,
there is a blue line, orange, green, and red. The green and red line people are generally college
types, the blue is tourist resident alien type, and the orange line are long time residents.
The directions of these lines do not seem to follow any other criteria or logical direction.
However, inbound always goes into or towards Boston, and outbound is away.
