River Edge, New Jersey

0 Conversations

River Edge is a small New Jersey suburb only a few miles from New York City, situated on the shore of the much polluted Hackensack River. For a small town, it has a rather large population; thanks to the development of every square inch of land (no tree is sacred). The town has a rich history. The historic New Bridge landing was key point in George Washington’s retreat during the revolutionary war. All of this action has disappeared and the town now is a virtual black hole of inactivity. NOTHING ever happens in this town. The only exciting places to go are the few businesses it houses. For Italian, one can eat at Sanducci’s. For greasy food, Fink’s Funky Chicken. For steak, Charlie Brown’s. For fast food, Mcdonalds. If you want a pizza you can call one of the billion pizza parlors in the area, I suggest Master Pizza.
