If only you could see what I've seen with your eyes
So what does an Alien Tourist do? Well, I'm not sophisticated enough or arrogant enough to describe myself as an Alien Traveller. For that I'd need to blend in with the locals and experience their customs firsthand without judgment. I've yet to blend in successfully on this planet, and it doesn't take very long before somebody notices.
On the other hand, I'd like to think that I'm a little more sophisticated than the teasers. That is, when visiting a foreign planet I try to do something more interesting than just "find some isolated spot with very few people around, then land right by some poor unsuspecting soul whom no one's ever going to believe and then strut up and down in front of him wearing silly antennas on their head and making beep beep noises."
I've been visiting this planet off and on for 29 years. It has potential but its nowhere near as cool as the indigenous earthlings think. Maybe that's because they're isolationist and narrow minded. They don't seem to care much about the rest of their corner of the universe or what their own world is going to be like in a measly 10,000 years. For instance, recently they've seemed concerned about globalisation but they don't care at all about galaxification. None of their little mom and pop stores like McDonald's will have any success on the galactic market.
Still, I'm doing what I can to change that provincial attitude. Or at least to make the place a little more fun.
