The h2g2 Theatre

2 Conversations

This impressive structure is the theatre for the community of researchers on h2g2. Maintained through the courtesy of the Actors Union, it is the home of drama in the Guide.

The architects carefully examined all aspects of the Royal National Theatre* of Great Britain - and did the opposite.

We hope to have some productions up and running in the near future; in the meantime, please look around.

The Auditoriums

There are three individual auditoriums within the complex. They are:
  • The Adams - A large stage surrounded on three sides by audience; the stage itself barely above the level of the lowest tier of seating.
  • The Moxon - Traditional proscenium arch auditorium with raised stage and large wings to accomodate actors, props, etc.
  • The Circle - This is a dark space, with the circular stage surrounded by the audience. Minimal use will be made of props and costume - very much bare essentials theatre.

Still under construction:

  • The Box Office
  • The Souvenir Shop
  • The CafĂ©/Restaurant
