h2g2 Actors Union
The community for all those on h2g2 who are interested in acting - be you in musicals or Shakespeare, professional or amateur or just plain curious! You don't need to have played Oedipus at the National or on Broadway to qualify.The Union

So what have we got to offer? Well, free membership, for a start. Which as we all know is not exactly commonplace in the industry. Then there's conversations. Everyone knows actors' stories are the best ones. Hopefully we'll have some top quality stories. Related to famous people or things that have happened to yourself. Or both, if you're that fortunate! We've also got a good resource centre for acting-related articles on h2g2. Let us know if there are any good articles than need adding to it. Here is a list of some recommended performances you can see (or hear) at the moment. Maybe you're in something - let everyone know when and where. We have just completed the building of an h2g2 theatre. It's a three-auditorium space allowing multiple shows. The individual theatres within the complex are: The Adams, The Moxon and The Circle. Take a look at the h2g2 Film Society. One of the things that actors do well is mimmick. With this in mind, we feel duty-bound to copy a lot of the good ideas of the various other h2g2 communities.Still to come...
We are actors, and we do things dramatically. We don't just have a union, or a guild - we name it. Any ideas? There's a forum below for suggestions. I suppose a graphic would be an idea as well...Members
